Celebrate Today Disney Parade float

Disney Wordless Wednesday ~ “Celebrate” Parade

August 7, 2012COMtnMom

This week’s Disney theme:  It’s a Parade!

In my modern day Disney obsessed history, the “What Will You Celebrate?” marketing theme of 2009 has remained my favorite.

Although it’s undergone a few changes here and there, the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” parade is still alive and kicking … and is an awesome site to behold!   The accompanying song is probably both my daughter and I’s favorite Disney parade music of all time.

A picture of a parade float with no characters?  Umm… I meant to do that.

There’s Pluto with a friendly wave, at least
Celebrate Today Disney Parade clapping
Festive Disney Parade etiquette dictates that you clap along

We take our curbside parade snack very seriously

It’s all about celebrating and dreams at Disney!

I almost channeled you today and posted my iphone pics of the jammin jungle parade – but life took over and my initial post for today became Wednesday’s post. That parade will have to wait for another day 🙂 And I’ll tell you it’s such an effort to get my girls to slow down for a parade – they just want to go, go, go!

Hey, there’s nothing wrong with having a “no character” parade picture! I think most of the floats are amazing enough that they don’t need characters on them! 🙂 Love the pic of the Mickey Bar – a perfect treat to enjoy while you’re waiting for the parade to come along.

One of my favorite things to do during a parade is watch the faces of the kids as they watch the parade. Thanks for sharing!

I love Disney parades and my favorite part is watching how much my kids enjoy it! The joy on every child’s face is priceless 🙂 Nice pics!!

Sitting on the curb to watch a parade is definetly the best spot! And of course, you have to have a snack! 😀

The perfect Disney parade right there. Kids, characters, a good spot on the curb, ice cream and great music…ah!
Thanks for sharing and for joining in on the DWW Blog Hop fun!

Curbside snacks are crucial when waiting and watching a Disney parade. Great moments captured 🙂

All those pics and all I can think about is how much I want a Mickey Premium Bar. Snacking during a parade is a must. Love the pics. Thanks for sharing. How did you get the one with no characters?

What Will You Celebrate was my favorite too. It motivated me to take the family during our birthday week and it was a blast! I have 3 kids’ birthdays in one week…right before Christmas. Yes, it hurts the wallet every year. ;o)

Great parade photos. I love the candid shots of your daughter. Adorable!

Parade snacks are a must! I prefer some popcorn though. 🙂 Great shots!

Awesome shots, Tami! Floats with no characters up front still make it special. Adorable pictures of your daughter enjoying the parade and I suddenly have a craving for some Mickey bars. 🙂

What will you celebrate was probably my favorite promotion in recent memory too. I think if I’d seen a parade float without a character on it though, I might have felt the need to run up on it and start waving. You can’t have an unmanned float in a parade (and besides, I’m pretty much a dead ringer for Prince Charming anyways).
