“Hello Fresh” Classic Box ~ Kit Contents

My family tried out a Hello Fresh Classic box.  I was so impressed when our shipment arrived.

It's a big sucker!

As an extra surprise gift welcoming me to Hello Fresh, they included a really nice canvas apron.

Top notice service and quality.  We’re on the right track here, people!  Now let’s see how the meals turned out.

“Hello Fresh” Classic Box ~ The Menus

We tried out the 4 serving box, and once prepared, we felt the portions were very generous.  The diversity of the recipes included were such a welcome change from our typical fare.   Every meal from our 3-menu box was delicious!

Menu #1:  Lomo Saltado over Roasted Potatoes

This was my children’s favorite, as they are little carnivores and it featured thin, tasty strips of tender steak.  I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the ingredient combination, but the flavors all came together nicely, and we all loved it.

Menu #2:  Yellow Squash and Black Bean Tostada

Why has it never occurred to me to slice the corn right off of a fresh ear, and saute it up?  Well, thankfully it occurred to Hello Fresh.  This dish was wonderful, and the sweet corn still incredibly sweet.  A new family favorite for us!

Menu #3:  Turkey and Spinach Burgers (with side of Sweet Potato Fries)

Talk about knowing how to jazz up the flavor of a turkey burger!  These patties combined feta and fresh [cooked] spinach, and I relished eating the leftovers for the following 2 days.  Baking the sweet potato fries was easy and proved to be a healthy, delicious accompaniment.

Our Hello Fresh experience was fantastic, and we highly recommend it to all!  The convenience obviously can’t be beat, and the cost is comparable to purchasing take-out food.
