“Pulses” ~ 11 Foods That are Cheap, Delicious, & Good for You

Aside from checking my heart rate, talk of "Pulses" was completely new to me.  But once I had a quick lesson on this low fat, high-protein, affordable, good for the environment food... I was instantly a [renewed] fan! Pulses are the edible seeds of plants in the legume family, which grow in pods and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Celebrate Earth Month By Playing! #PledgeToPlay

Earth Day has evolved into Earth Month! Hey, I think our fabulous planet deserves a month of our time, in thinking about how to take good care of her.  :)   So how about trying to take one hour per day this Earth Month.... to play! Not on your phone. Not on your tablet. Not in front of the tv. Or the computer. Just play.  Indoors or out.  Although it seems ideal to try and get you and your kids outside to play in honor of Earth Month.    But even if it's indoors, an hour of non-electronics play is saving electricity (and hence energy). See Disneynature’s Monkey Kingdom for Earth Day

There's still time!  Head to the theatre to see the new Disneynature film MONKEY KINGDOM during opening week (April 17-23... through tomorrow!) and Disneynature will make a donation in your honor to Conservation International.   See Monkey Kingdom for Earth Day It makes me so happy that every Spring  in honor of Earth Day, Disneynature releases a new fantastic, family friendly nature film.  These films are not super-hero blockbusters, or record setting animated flicks.  But so much more importantly, they inspire a love of our amazing planet and help us be mindful of its heartwarming animal kingdom.
