One Week of Adventure in prAna #7DayStretch + Discount Code

A few years ago, I purchased my very first pair of what I call "outdoorsy" pants, made from durable fabric with some stretch to it.  They were made by prAna.  The comfort factor blew my mind, and they warmly welcomed me to my new "Life Beyond Jeans".  I was hooked.   Now prAna pants are better than ever. I was recently approached to try out a #7DayStretch test in some prAna pants, and quickly accepted the challenge.  Excited to see they come in three length options, I selected a tall pair of Women's Halle Pants. My mission:  To sport my new prAna Halle pants for 7 days straight, testing out the fit, fabric, and wear. Unfortunately for me, I can't really go play outside for a week straight. Kelty Women's Redwing 40 Review The Kelty Women's Redwing 40 features shoulder straps and a hip belt contoured especially for women.  It comes in both black and two other attractive color options (personally, I love the Indigo), and weighs in at 2 lbs 14 oz.  This pack has a fabulous capacity, and even when full the excellent suspension … [Read more...]

Gear Review: RIBZ Front Pack

With a fresh take on storing and hauling your gear, the RIBZ Front Pack is a well design option for balancing your carrying load and making items more accessible while on the go during your outdoor adventures. We recently tested one of these unique packs out on the hiking trail.  Here's what we thought of the RIBZ Front pack product and performance. Ribz Front Pack Review The first thing I appreciated about this clever little guy, is the versatility of the Ribz Front Pack.  It can be worn either by itself or in addition to your backpack.  The name is derived from the fact that the pack sits cleanly and snugly along your ribcage, and it's surprising unobtrusive. How often during an outdoor adventure do you find that you'd like access to something in your heavy, strapped-on backpack... only to decide that it's not worth the hassle of completely unloading yourself, placing the backpack on the ground, and digging around for what you need?  Right?? Herein lies the beauty of … [Read more...]
