If you've not heard of Rita's Italian Ice, you need to find their website right now and look for a location near you.  Until serving as a Rita's Ice Blogger Ambassador these past few months, I had never tried Italian Ice.  Being a huge fan of creamy ice cream... I didn't think it would necessarily rock my world.  I was wrong. Whether it's Rita's Italian Ice all-natural flavor of the day, or another tasty flavor, you will love this delicious and refreshing treat.  They now even serve it in a four-section "Ice Flights" tray, if you'd like to select four yummy flavors. Since I'm serving as a Rita's Ice blogger in a town with no Rita's Ice locations, locating one is at the top of our list every time we head to a city.  This summer we visited one of the Denver locations, and were able to try out the refreshing new menu option that solves a big problem for any who are a tad indecisive (like me!) Visit Rita’s Italian Ice in July & Support Alex’s Lemonade Stand

Last month my family had the pleasure of visiting a Rita’s Italian Ice for the first time.  We couldn’t decide on the most delicious item offered.  Is it the decadently creamy frozen custard?  Or the refreshing burst of icy fruit flavor in the smooth Italian Ice? Actually, I think the best thing on the menu is something that combines both:  the Gelati.  :) During the month of July, there’s an additional reason to visit Rita’s Italian Ice. Rita’s Hosts a “Wall Of Hope” Now through July 24th, Rita’s Italian Ice will be fundraising for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF).  This non-profit organization is dedicated to finding a cure for all childhood cancers.  The foundation has already raised more than $75 million, used toward funding over 375 research projects nationally. Perfect Summer Treat ~ Rita’s All-Natural Italian Ice

A couple of months ago, I received a very exciting email.  Would I like to be a #RitasIceBlogger during this upcoming year?  Why yes... I'd love to! Although we do not have any Rita's Italian Ice locations in my semi-remote Western Colorado town, I knew we could seek them out during our travels.  So when we headed to California a week ago on a family vacation road trip, I made sure to grab a couple of my gift cards so we could finally check this stuff out. The problem? It's amazing. Now I'm addicted. And I'm back home with no access to Rita's Italian Ice.  Waaaah!!
