Behold Stonewear’s Exciting New Look!

Active wear company Stonewear (formerly Stonewear Designs) based out of Boulder, Colorado, has just released their new Spring line, newly shortened name, and new logo!  The website has been redesigned with a fresh new look, with a user friendly design and  improved product photos. This Spring/Summer 2015 season brings with it a Caribbean-inspired color palette that is flat out gorgeous.   As an Ambassador for Stonewear, I was able to select a few items from this season... and had a terrible time deciding between the lush tropical orange, berry hues, or my favorite - multiple variations of blue and turquoise! There are some brand new fabrics being used this season, including a "mini-stripe" performance technical fabric with the feel of cotton (excited to try that one!).  In addition to the classic favorites, they also have added 8 brand new products:  the Fuse Tank, Vibe Short, Volt Capri, Cassanna Pullover, Compass Capri, Siren Top, Sportee, and Stride Skort. “This website … [Read more...]

Stonewear Designs Womens Travel Wear [Giveaway, Ended 11/7]

As a Grassroots Ambassador for Stonewear Designs, you've likely heard me talk about this women's active clothing company from Colorado.  One of the things I love about their clothing, is that because of the soft, wrinkle free fabrics with a bit of stretch and comfortable designs - not only do they make great active wear... they also translate nicely for travel wear. On my recent two day trip to a Coca-Cola Blogging Conference, the 21 bloggers in attendance were told to dress "casual chic".  I would be taking a carry on bag only, so would need to include the least number of clothing items possible. Well, let's see.  If I wear Stonewear Designs pants or capris each day of the conference, I'll be comfortable all day, and can come back to the hotel and also wear them for comfy, relaxing and lounging time!  Sounds perfect to me. Here's what I brought along on my trip: Stonewear Slit Crop Pant The Stonewear Slit Crop Pant is my favorite, because of the perfect (not too fitted) … [Read more...]

Stonewear Designs Olympia Top – My Soft, Reliable Friend

We weren’t always enamored with each other, right from the start.  But now our relationship has grown, our mutual respect and affection deepened and even flourished over time. For whatever reason, when I first tried on my Stonewear Designs Olympia Top it wasn’t what I was expecting.  On me, the top half is fitted (and I’m not overly busty) but the bottom half spread out loosely, almost in a bell shape.  As my other Stonewear fitness tops were … well, more “fitted”, at the bottom – I didn’t know quite what to make of this. And then came the episode of my Olympia Mishap, which I will relate in hope that you can learn from my lapse in judgement.  Thinking I could shrink the lower half into being slightly more fitted, I disregarded the laundry instructions (which call for line drying) and put mine in the dryer. The unfortunate result was that it shrunk in length.  Oops.  Now I’m a tall girl, with a long torso.  So this meant that back slit (which is such a cute design) now hits … [Read more...]

Stonewear Designs Slit Crop Pant – The One I’ve Been Searching For

I own three types of capris, for three different purposes.  Does that sound like you? I have some capris which I usually wear for workouts, typical sporting apparel type crop pants.  I then own several pair of capri pants which I wear to work, since they are my favorite piece of clothing during the warm months.  Plus I have numerous, raggedy but comfy lounging pant capris that I put on almost the second I arrive home for the day. That is until Stonewear Designs recently sent me a pair of their signature, customer favorite Stonewear Slit Crop Pant.  And now I only need one style of pants - for everything!  Because these are amazing. From the day they came in the mail, they became the bottoms I wanted to put on every single morning.   If they were in the wash, I was left standing in my closet, forlornly examining all the not-Stonewear options, having a little Pity Party for myself and wishing I had more Stonewear capris and pants on my shelf. The Stonewear Slit Crop Pant As … [Read more...]
