Ski Country Antiques & Home Store Near Denver [Giveaway]

If you live around the Denver or Evergreen area (Colorado), the Ski Country Antiques & Home store is a place you’ve probably seen on the side of the I-70 but perhaps never stopped by to enjoy. This family-owned business with 20,000 square feet available, features thousands of pieces of northern European antique furniture, bath and body products as well as seasonal decor.

Visiting the store is an experience of its own.  Visitors are encouraged to explore the different rooms and look through displays. Many visitors describe the store as a museum, except everything is for sale.

Finally, on one of our family trips to Denver we did stop to check it out.  And this was my same personal experience at Ski Country Antiques & Home store.  It looks so cool from the outside, I knew it would align with my décor jam.

Sure enough, the vibe has something for everyone – from ski chalet / mountain lodge to European antique farm house.  It’s a huge place.  Yet it’s obvious that the inventory has been hand selected with care.  It’s all staged so appealingly, you’ll want to move right in.

Actually, the first time we stopped there I primarily noticed all the home décor. I feel it’s very “Colorado”, and one of my favorite styles.  Now I realize they are also selling the European antiques found throughout the store.  And that these larger specialty, one-of-a-kind pieces are also available for sale on their website.

Both in-store and online, you’ll find large furniture items such as armoires, hutches, sideboards, dining sets, trunks, clocks, benches and bedroom groupings. Whatever mood or style you’re trying to create for your space, the selection of antique furniture you’ll find in our store is sure to add just the character and history you’re looking for.

The store also has a wide array of smaller decorative antiques.  Our collection of antique skis, ski poles, snowshoes, skates and sleds are some of the best-sellers.

The antique pieces in the store are carefully hand-picked by the Ski Country Antiques & Home on one of their frequent buying trips to Europe. The team works with numerous dealers inside and outside of the cities, to find new items to join our collection.

The Ski Country Antique & Home store is a must-visit destination and a great way to spend an afternoon or even break up the drive as you head to or back down from the mountains. As the season’s change, so does the décor of the store.

Spring brings cheerful décor and colorful flowers. Then during the autumn months, we have a lovely assortment of pumpkins, turkeys and fall foliage. And come winter, expect the store to be dressed at it’s best. A number of decorated trees are spread throughout the store, each with their own theme.
