New National Geographic Kids Book for Summer 2019 [Giveaway]

May 9, 2019COMtnMom

It’s the 10th anniversary of National Geographic Kids Almanac!  My daughter discovered this fabulous book when she was in gradeschool.  She loves them SO MUCH, she literally read it until it fell apart!  For several years, we had to head to the bookstore to get annual copy of this colorful, informative, and fun almanac.  So I’m happy to be partnering with them, and hosting a giveaway of 3 new National Geographic Kids Books just out this week for Summer 2019.

We have each of these in paperback, and they are gorgeous glossy paper.  So nice and priced really affordably… great thing to have on hand for a summer break boredom-buster, or even to take along on the family road trip.  These are books that even non-bookish kids (like my son) will love!

National Geographic Kids Almanac 2020

There’s also a new challenge this year, for kids who want to get involved with helping our planet.  It’s packed with hundreds of photos and facts, crafts and fascinating features about animals, science, nature, technology, conservation and more. For book lovers and reluctant readers alike, the National Geographic Kids Almanac 2020 is a compelling and balanced combination of:

  • Fun and games, including activities, jokes, quizzes and comics
  • Practical resources, including homework help and fast facts and maps of every country
  • Exciting sections on pop culture, cool technology, extreme exploration and more
  • Lighthearted favorites like the “Cutest Animals of 2020!”

The almanac is also designed to inspire young readers to be the change they want to see in the world around them.  It encourages them to become more involved environmentally, socially and in other ways.

In this year’s edition, National Geographic Kids launches the 20/20 Visionary Challenge, asking readers to imagine the world 10 years from now and to picture a positive change, invention or discovery they’d like to see become reality

Animals, people, places, science, technology or beyond — the sky’s the limit! Kids will be able to read some of their great ideas in next year’s Almanac 2021.   Check out the National Geographic Kids Almanac website — which contains all sort of cool stuff like games, fun facts, information about the 20/20 Visionary Challenge.
