All Natural ASPIRE Sports Drinks
Tired of giving your kids (or yourself) unhealthy drinks full of high fructose sugar? So were the two hockey dads from Minnesota who created ASPIRE all natural sports drinks. In an effort to improve the health and performance of athletes, they set out to innovate a better alternative.
Other prevalent sports drinks often contain large amounts of sugar, salt, artificial dyes and flavors, preservatives, oils, and other unhealthy ingredients. Oftentimes during strenuous activity, your body does need more than water. ASPIRE offers a healthy alternative. Their mission:
“to create a natural sports drink that is better for your health, better for your performance, and better tasting.”
All Natural ASPIRE Sports Drinks
With only 35 calories and 8g of sugar in a 12oz bottle, ASPIRE is sweetened with pure cane sugar, monk fruit and stevia leaf.
My family tried out an assortment of all 5 available ASPIRE flavors, and the first thing I liked was the relatively smaller size. I think this is a much more practical amount to grab and drink in one setting, while still cold… then get back into the action!
ASPIRE indeed has some impressive credentials. They include no bad ingredients – no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no preservatives. And it has plenty of good stuff like electrolytes, antioxidants, B Vitamins, calcium, and zinc.
ASPIRE comes in the following flavors:
- FIRE (cherry-berry)
- ICE (lemon-lime)
- STORM (grape)
- RISE (orange)
- RUSH (blue raspberry)
Hands-down, our favorite flavor was RUSH. In close second place… ICE! 🙂
The first thing I noticed was although the packaging is bright, fun, and eye catching – the drink is clear. Clear! I was very impressed by that, as was my teen-aged babysitter when I offered her an ASPIRE to test out. She checks out the label, reads the “warning” and chuckled..
WARNING: THIS DRINK…MAY CAUSE VICTORY, ACHIEVEMENT BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAMS AND EPIC GREATNESS
“Oh, my. Who… ME? Well… how exciting!” she replied. She seemed surprised at how good it tasted, and threw in another 2 thumbs up vote for the ASPIRE RUSH / blue raspberry flavor.
As a mom, I’m always happy to find healthy options like this that are better for my family. I appreciate the content of ASPIRE natural sports drinks, and my whole family likes the taste. It’s a win!
If you haven’t already, I encourage you to look for these drinks and try them out yourself. ASPIRE sports drinks are now available at many retailers, including Whole Foods and Target Stores.

There’s a bike path behind our house that runs between the closest two towns. My hubby and I are grateful for the warmer weather so we can get back out there!
