I use off products or on sale store brands. My mom use to use Avon skin so soft on us. It did work and smelled good.

I’d love to try the Avon bug guard…right now, we try and use those candles that are supposed to keep them away when sitting outside at night. As for the sun, sunscreen with a high count (I’m pale!!)

The Avon with Picaridin is actually my all-time favorite! I have both the pump spray and, when they are available, the individual wipes for my purse. I also use a product by BullFrog called Mosquito Coast, which has SPF 30 and bug spray. It’s great for the kids because you only have one product to apply.

I’m bad about using sun block and bug spray. I’m trying to be better though and I love the option to have both features in one product. I spend a lot of time outside so this would be great!

I’ve tried the clip on devices. I’ve tried spraying the yard directly around the house. We have an acre, so I’ve tried to establish just a walking perimeter directly around the house. We use bug spray only when our situation warrants it.

My family tends to use sports sunscreens that are sweat and waterproof (usually Coppertone) for the sun, and I usually try to use citronella, before using any bug sprays. I would like to try the Avon, people who use it swear by it.

We don’t have a lot of problem with bugs here at home but when traveling sometimes we do. At those times I buy a lotion or spray…once I also bought towelettes that were bug repellant.
