Free Disney Parks Books from the Libby App
Did you know you can check out many different Disney Parks books for FREE from your public library, via the Libby app?
I love to read, and often check out digital books from our local municipal library directly on to my iPad. The convenience of doing so has made this my primary way to borrow books. Recently, my library has announced they will be switching from use of the Overdrive app to the Libby app. So this zip-a-dee-do-dah press release caught my eye!
Free Digital Disney Books on Libby
The Libby app has a brand-new collection of Disney digital books that guests can check out for free from their public library. This is a magical and fantastic collection with something for everyone! Audiobooks, Little Golden books, YA graphic novels, non-fiction Disney history, “Draw 50 Princesses”… even car games to keep kids busy during travel.

Hmmmm…. I think I need to browse The Unofficial Disney Parks EPCOT Cookbook, and see if I can make some delicious treats to tide me over until my next Disney visit.
I wonder if they can teach me to make caramel treats from the Germany Pavilion’s Karamell Kuche…?? Oh, heck ya.
My kids personal favorite are the “5-Minute” Disney story books, of which we own several. I see this Libby Disney books collection has one we haven’t read before… 5-Minute Horse Stories. I will be checking this out soon!

With Bob Iger once again taking center stage as the newly [re-]appointed CEO of The Walt Disney Company, I’m excited to hear the audio version of his memoir The Ride of a Lifetime.
I also think the Women of Walt Disney Imagineering sounds fascinating, and may have to give it a listen. That entices with the lead “12 women reflect of their trailblazing theme park careers”.

Update: My local library’s digital collection on Libby did NOT have some of these titles, including the one I was most excited about, Delicious Disney. However, I checked on Apple Books, and this amazing new 2022 Disney cookbook they released for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World is on sale right now for $4.99.
Well worth it! I purchased it, and absolutely love it!!
In addition to recipes, it includes photos, history, fun stories, mouthwatering food photos. I’m so excited to make Tonga Toast!! Mmmm….. tooooonggaaaa toooooast….
