A couple of years ago, a Dick’s Sporting Goods came to my community. On my very first visit, I was surprised at what a wide variety of merchandise they offer. Including tons of great outdoor gear! If you are currently on the lookout for gift ideas, I thought I’d pull together an outdoor gift guide of my favorites from Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Do you need a gift idea you can easily order online, pickup curbside, or grab at your local Dick’s Sporting Good store? I got you! Here are some amazing ideas, at a variety of price points. Some of my product picks are for outdoor adventures… others are for cozying up afterwards.
Outdoor Gifts for Her
DSG is Dick’s in-house apparel brand, offering nice quality styles at affordable prices. I like these Women’s high rise oversize cinch pants (on sale for $30). It can be tricky purchasing clothing as a gift and finding the right fit, but a comfy jogger style pant is a safe bet. What girl wouldn’t welcome this addition to her cozy, lounging, post-adventure wardrobe?
Another easy oversized option is this Adidas Women’s Fleece Oversized Crew Sweatshirt. Comes in three colors, and is currently on sale for only $29.
I cruised through our local store and spotted this terrific tote, which is absolutely adorable in person. The CALIA brand of fitness items is my favorite at Dick’s, and this CALIA Libby Faux Leather Tote ($60) is the perfect size. It’s roomy enough to serve as an excellent catch-all for those hats, gloves, water bottles, and snacks before you head out the door and to the trail!
That cute little black and white floral bag is the Lady Hagen Golf Valuables Pouch ($20). It’s 5″ x 8″ size is perfect for your phone and keys, plus a few essentials on the go. It’s a versatile pick that the lady in your life would be sure to love…. even if they don’t golf.
Another sure win is The North Face Oh Mega Fur Pom Beanie ($45). It comes in 5 different hat/pom color combinations and is too, too cute. I plan to pick up one for myself in the gorgeous “Gardenia White”.
I’ll wedge this right here, as a Rumple Outdoor Puffy Blanket ($99) would be AMAZING for either him or her! These are so wonderful for a camping trip, or to keep in your vehicle during the cold months for any unexpected emergencies or chilly adventures. But you’ll have a hard time not just keeping it in your house for daily snuggle use! They come in multiple striking ombre colorways and designs.
Outdoor Gifts For Him
My husband loves a good 1/4 zip pullover. The awesome textured Cap Rock Fleece 1/4 Zip Pullover ($65) by The North Face comes in lots of cool colors, and would be one of my top picks for a great gift for an outdoors guy.
These unisex Carhart beanies ($20-25) are all the rage right now! They’d make a fun gift for guy, gal, or youth. My teen daughter loves them, and just picked up a lovely mint green one from Dick’s last weekend.
The VRST Men’s Wool Like Shirt Jacket ($100) would be a useful and versatile pick. It’s lined with fleece, and has 2 hand pockets and 2 chest pockets. It’s windproof and made from water resistant fabric.
If I had to predict one of the most popular gifts this season, it would be the Stanley 40 oz Adventure Quencher Tumbler ($40). Double walled stainless steel insulated mug that will keep your drink hot or cold for hours, plus a great lid design that has three positions: a straw opening, a wide mouth for chugging, and a full-cover top to prevent spills. The nifty shape fits in most car holders. These suckers make me wish my water bottle cabinet wasn’t so stuffed.
Got an angler in your life? I love this idea of the Mystery Tackle Box Pro Bass Kit ($30). It takes the pressure off of you, if you don’t know exactly what fishing tackle they need. Plus, it’s an exciting surprise for them! You can’t go wrong with pretty much any gear from outdoor brand favorite YETI, and Dick’s Sporting Goods has one of the largest selection of their products that I’ve seen. I think my personal favorite is the YETI Hopper Flip Cooler ($250) which I use all the time. Then I go into my local Dick’s store and see all these drool-worthy new colors, and think I may need to gift mine to someone, so I can get a new one…?
Outdoor Gifts For Kids
If you have tweens or teens who love kicks…. consider a Dick’s Sporting Goods gift card, for them to pick out their own favorite pair! Dick’s has an amazing selection of footwear. This will be a guaranteed hit, and will allow them to shop for their favorite style and perfect fit.
If you’re looking for a gift that will get your kids outside and being active, perhaps consider a pickleball set. Pickleball is HOT and growing in popularity! Word on the street is that it’s similar to, but easier than, tennis… and kids love it. Apparently all ages do – I met a 90 year old spitfire at my gym who told me all about her pickleball league. Her passion for the sport runs strong, and she encouraged me to try it with my kids. Dick’s Sporting Goods can help you select the pickleball set that would be a good fit.
