Rocky Mountain PBS KIDS Fun Fest Is Just Around the Corner!

Free event held at Rocky Mountain PBS’ Denver studios

September 7, 2013, 10am-2pm

 Rocky Mountain PBS is gearing up for Denver’s 17th annual Rocky Mountain PBS KIDS Fun Fest – a fantastic FREE party for families.   It’s all happening at the Rocky Mountain PBS studios in downtown Denver on Saturday, September 7, 10am-2pm.

It’s a block party full of fun activities free to all.  It’s the Rocky Mountain PBS salute to families and children, ideal for kids preschool age through sixth grade.  PBS characters such as Curious George, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Word Girl and Sid the Science Kid will entertain their young (and old) fans. There will be dozens of booths and activities, and entertainment from the stage includes performances by outstanding local talent guaranteed to get everyone moving. Healthy refreshments will be offered and kids will enjoy moving around to different activity areas featuring Discovery Street, PBS Healthy Kids Go, PBS Science KIDS, PBS KIDS Create and PBS ABCs & 123s KIDS—learning, exploring and having FUN!

Don’t miss this unique event, presented by title sponsor Subaru. It’s the perfect outing for families and a great chance to connect with Rocky Mountain PBS and your community.

We ask that our Fun Fest attendees bring a gently used children’s book for Reach Out & Read.
