Top Summer Womens Picks from Royal Robbins
Royal Robbins makes active, versatile clothing for people who enjoy the outdoors and travel. They’ve got some fabulous technical fabrics, and even some great natural fiber blends that perform beautifully.
With comfortable, stylish design and quality construction – it’s one of my favorite clothing brands. Here are some of my favorite women’s clothing pieces from the summer Royal Robbins collection.
Royal Robbins Jammer Short
Hold up, you just found your favorite summer shorts. And I don’t even really like shorts?! The super comfy waistband, ultra smoothing and flattering fit, and soft yet durable stretchy fabric of the Royal Robbins Jammer Short will win you over instantly. I love that they wear like a cozy yoga short, yet look classier and more appropriate for any adventure… from hiking to shopping.
The fabric is a nylon and spandex blend, with UPF 50+ protection. It’s an eco-conscious bluesign® Approved fabric, that’s breathable and moves nicely with you when active. It’s the Royal Robbins selection in fabrics that often impress me the most, and this is no exception.

Royal Robbins MerinoLux™ Short Sleeve Henley
Again, with the amazing Royal Robbins fabrics. Often hesitant about anything with wool in it, I wasn’t sure if I’d like the Women’s MerinoLux™ Short Sleeve Henley. Good news! It’s *not* itchy! And I’m very, very sensitive to fabrics with wool feeling itchy. Yet this passes my test.
Which leaves me free to enjoy the excellent benefits of the MerinoLux™ wool blend. You get the tech performance of eco-conscious Sorona® fibers (68%), blended with premium Merino wool (32%). The result is an odor resistant garment that wicks moisture, dries quickly, and has the temperature regulating benefits of wool. Plus that Sorona® adds increased durability, shrink resistance, and makes this lovely shirt machine washable.
This is a perfect shirt for outdoor play and travel. You can even wear it more than once between washings. 😉
Royal Robbins Expedition Chill Stretch Tunic
One of their best sellers, the Royal Robbins Expedition Chill Stretch Tunic is that great staple piece every woman explorer needs in her closet (or suitcase, or backpack…) It’s a versatile active travel top that’s breezy and cool to wear, while offering 50+ UPF.
The longer tunic style is perfect for wearing with leggings. Their standard fit is generous and comfortable, without looking sloppy. It’s wrinkle resistant, and the ¾ length sleeves make it very flexible piece to pack.
