What You’ll Love About Airelle Skin Care
I’ve been doing a few skin care reviews lately, and have tested out some pretty fabulous products. So the bar is set fairly high for me at this point, and I’m hard to impress. Yet Airelle Skin Care has impressed me.
Airelle Skin Care
Airelle’s goal was to create the best natural anti-aging skin care products on the market. As I’m sure you realize, this is a very hot product market these days… everyone (myself included) wants to slow down aging, and have their skin look its best.
Because environmental damage is a leading cause of skin damage and collagen breakdown, the founders of Airelle targeted trying to develop a product line that protects that collagen. It’s taken a global effort coordinating the expertise of dermatology experts, cosmetic chemists, and formulators to come up with the final result.
So… lots of smart people that know a lot about skin came up with the Airelle skincare line for you.
A key ingredient they’ve developed and patented is BERRIMATRIX®: a proprietary formulation of deeply concentrated blueberry extract, with 5X higher antioxidant levels than average. States the Airelle website: “BERRIMATRIX® is packed with anti-aging ingredients that have been shown to help minimize, slow and, in some cases, reverse the signs of aging on the skin.”
Unfortunately, the samples I received were too small (perhaps 1 week’s worth) to enable me to try the products long enough to give you an assessment on whether I saw anti-aging results, or not. But I can at least give you some honest feedback on what each item I tested out was like.
Airelle Anti-Aging Skincare
I was sent an Anti-Aging Skincare Sample Kit ($49 MSRP, currently on special for $29.95). This was the only negative part of my Airelle experience, as the sizes of these samples were frustratingly tiny. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth even the $29.95 “sale” price.
So I was disappointed that I would only be able to try out the products for about a week, before my supply ran out. Not really enough time to measure results.
However, here’s the lineup of the 3 Skincare Steps included and my experience with each:
Step 1: Exfoliating Cleanser
My favorite Airelle product, hands down. I’m a sucker for a good exfoliating cleanser, and I’ve tried many different brands. This one’s the best I’ve found. Very fine grit, just the right amount. Leaves my skin feeling amazing. (I need more. I’m watching for a sale…!)
Step 2: Intense Hydrating Repair Complex
The next step in a good skin care regime. A good step. This has a light oil texture, and absorbs well but not too quickly – so you can use a small amount to cover your entire face. I can’t tell you whether it works or not (in 7 days, no noticeable difference), but it would be a good idea to include if you are going to give the entire Airelle skin care line a try.
Step 3: Age-Defying Facial Serum
Contains the BERRIMATRIX ingredient. Smells amazing. Feels amazing. A tiny amount seems to hydrate my entire face. I was surprised this one was considered the “serum”, as it seems like a light moisturizing lotion to me. Absolutely love this, and definitely recommend it.
Airelle Age-Defying Eye + Lip Treatment
I also tried an Airelle Age Defying Eye + Lip Treatment ($68 MSRP). I’m definitely a “woman of a certain age” who feels strongly about using an eye treatment. “Yeah, yeah… eye treatment is eye treatment“, you may be thinking to yourself. Well, this one is actually unique in a few ways.
First, it has the texture of an oil. That came as a surprise, and I’d generally prefer a cream – but it wasn’t a show stopper for me.
Second, the applicator is a roller ball. Which makes sense, given surprise number one. It’s actually a great way to dispense the product, as you don’t waste any on your fingertips, and it gives you more precise control over where you’d like to apply.
Third, lip treatment? I’m not a smoker whose mouth is prematurely shriveling like shrunken apple head woman… do I really need a lip treatment? Oh well, what the heck. It’s easy to apply, and why not kill two birds with one stone? I’m all for that.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Right?
Another nice thing about this product is that it does seem to last a looong time. I did receive a full size bottle. I have used for 6 weeks, and barely see a difference in the level still remaining.
My Overall Airelle Pick: If you are just wanting to test out an introduction to the Airelle skincare line… try the exfoliating cleanser. Amazing. You won’t be disappointed.

I received some Airelle skincare product samples at no cost, for the purposes of performing this review. All opinions are my own.
