Aventura Clothing Fall Favorites & Discount Code
Because I’m an Aventura Ambassador, you may have heard me talk about this eco-friendly brand, or seen some photos I’ve posted of myself in their outdoorsy chic styles. Aventura is a small, family owned clothing brand that use green initiatives in their business practices. I love the fabrics they use, such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, and modal (my favorite – so soft!). I have become a loyal fan of their quality and fabulously cute clothes.
Being an Ambassador allows me to select three outfits from the Fall 2015 season. Then I proceed to order a bunch more on my own. Because I’m addicted. But that’s another story. Suffice it to say, I get a nice overview of the entire line and am happy to share my Aventura Clothing Fall Favorites with you.
Aventura Clothing Fall Favorites ~ Ambassador Picks
Let’s start with a great jacket. There are many foxy options to choose from this season on Aventura’s site, but I think the one with the most character and distinct design details is the Shonda Jacket. With a removable hood, adjustable waist string, hand pockets with both top flap and side entries, rollable sleeves with tabs, and three trendy colors to choose from… you simply can’t go wrong by adding a Shonda to your Fall wardrobe.
Next, my choice of a sweater. The first requirement for me personally is no wool, as I am pretty sensitive to itch. Within that criteria, I’m going to go with the Jaylee Sweater. It has a roomy yet still flattering cut, with lovely braid detail down each sleeve and on the cuffs. They took a traditionally boyish look with the old school contrasting sleeves, and added delicate finishing touches for a unique and beautiful piece. It’s a nice light weight and adds no bulk to your outfit, so could easily be worn layered or alone. The Grisaille color this season is a cool mix of blue and grey, and is also available in some of the other Aventura pieces. Looks particularly fantastic when worn with a scarf.
My absolute favorite piece from the Aventura Clothing Fall line is the Nova Reversible Skirt. Aventura truly knocks it out of the park with this reversible skirt concept, as you literally get twice the bang for your fashion buck. This sucker is luxuriously soft, and it’s length will cloak you in warmth this winter. It’s 100% cotton, and travels well. Roll it up, it doesn’t take much space, and any mild wrinkles fall out quickly once at your destination. It so comfortable, I feel like I’m wearing pajamas. Except that I look so goooood….
When you’re on the Aventura site, don’t forget to grab a scarf or two. You won’t find a better source for hip, soft, and fun scarves than Aventura Clothing. The Kassel Scarf is one of my favorites. Really any Aventura scarf is such a great wardrobe addition, as you can combine them with existing pieces in your closet, and feel like you have a whole new outfit.
Aventura Clothing’s sweater-like infinity scarves are amazing. The photos do not do them justice, but believe me when I say they arrange beautifully, and cloak you in cozy warmth. The colors in the Terny Infinity Scarf are luscious.
Oh, oh… just one more thing. The Goodwyn Top looks fantastic under a jacket, or when worn alone. The sleeves have elastic at the ends, and adjust easily and nicely to your current temperature situation. It’s described as a peasant style blouse, which isn’t typically my thing. But all I know is it’s very soft, almost slinky to the touch, very comfortable, and a cute style. I have one in Smoked Pearl – shown in opening photo above.
