There is no other place on the planet like Colorado!  We’ve got it all… from colorful mountains and rock formations, to cities that seem to be built on top of the world. Colorado has crystal clear rivers and white water rafting. Colorado has world-class arts, musicians, and unique history.  Spring and Summer are the perfect time to enjoy that high altitude sun, and get out for some Colorado festivals and health fairs.

There are many festivals and fairs held in Colorado annually. These festivals draw hundreds of thousands of people.  Tourists are welcome right along with the locals.

Although not a list of ALL the festivals and events available to you in Colorado this spring and summer, here are a few of the most popular ones to be sure and check out. We will tell you about a few. 

Music Festivals

Telluride Bluegrass Festival

Telluride, Colorado

The annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival is HUGE, and kindof a big deal here in the Rocky Mountains.

This live music festival is a 4-day event that happens in mid-June. Telluride is surrounded by natures architect on three sides This canyon city was established in 1875. Many big-name singers have performed here, and people from virtually every part of the area will attend.

Breckenridge Music Festival

Breckenridge, Colorado

This is a unique music festival. Each night from July 16th, through July 31st will feature a different theme. You will experience different music styles, shows based on various time periods, and much more. The city has an extensive arts presence. Exhibits and features will be incredible. There will be plenty of home-made treats sold from vendors in the area.

Health Fairs

Colorado has its share of experienced medical professionals. The health communities are not to be outdone when it comes to a top of the line experts (for example physical therapists – you can find more details on lists like this one) and health fairs.

“Own Your Health” by attending a free Colorado 9Health Fair.  These health fairs have been held in various locations in Colorado since the 1970’s. This year will be over 40 locations, and most are held on the weekends.  Screenings are free, or very low cost.

No insurance is required. This is a great way to check up on your health, without the stress or expense of a traditional doctor’s visit.  If something is found of concern, the professionals will help you find the right treatments, that fit into your budget and schedule. This is a non-profit fair that is run primarily by volunteers.

LiveWell Colorado

This year is the LiveWell 10th anniversary celebration for the non-profit organization. Have a cocktail, enjoy horderves.  LiveWell wants you to enjoy the fair. The mission is to help people of all income levels to afford healthy eating and health screening.
