11/15/12 UPDATE to this post: We’ve now received our own Knot Genie, and it definitely gets 2 thumbs up. I use it both on my 7 yr old daughter’s long hair (she literally went “Aaaahhh… it feels like a massage, mom!!” the first time I tried it on her) and my 2 yr old son’s crazy, matted, toddler bed head. I highly recommend this product.
