Womens Gift Guide for Adventurers – Starting at $10!
Because I’ve done gear reviews for years, I’m a bit of a gear brat. I’ve been able to try out lots of cool products and apparel over the past few years, on my travel and outdoor adventures. And you always get to the point where you have favorite things, and favorite brands you always trust to deliver high quality products. So I thought I should put together a womens gift guide for adventurers! This list includes AMAZING things that are my all time favorites for outdoors and travel, starting at less than $10.

Feetures socks, $16-20
Engineered to fit, specialty running socks that also come in everyday soft and incredibly comfortable merino wool designs. I love the low “Elite Ultra Light” and the gorgeous Texture Cushion Crew.
South of France Sugar Scrub, $8
This new line of sugar polishes from South of France body care is cheap and yet nice quality. I love exfoliating hands in winter with a sugar scrub like this, that leaves oils and light fragrance behind. The tube dispenser is brilliant and mess free.
Turtle Fur Trucker, $30
I adore this Turtle Fur trucker hat. I own hundreds of hats, and this one is in my Top 3 rotation. What an awesome design!
Turtle Fur Neck Gaitor, $28
It was hard for me to narrow this down, and really any warm and cozy thing from Turtle Fur would be accepted with a happy squeal of glee. But Turtle Fur really knocks their thick, luxuriant neck gators out of the park. My pick is the Neckula Heavyweight Neck Warmer.

Thermarest Argo Blanket
I almost cry happy tears just talking about my Thermarest Argo Blanket. I didn’t see it coming. But now I love it like a third child, and sleep with it fortnightly. I literally don’t leave home without it, because it’s also an amazing travel blanket, which folds compactly into an attached pillow case. It’s soft and the perfect temperature, I never get hot or cold sleeping with the wonderful Argo. I LOVE YOU, ARGO!

But luxe fabrics, technical performance, and lots of ski town style cred. The Sweetwater Fleece Hoodie is one of my top picks for an amazing gift.
Stio Willow Flannel Shirt
I have the Stio Willow Flannel Shirt from last season (shown above is a new color), and can vouch that it’s the thick, “fuzzy” kind of high quality flannel. Don’t you hate when you order a FLANNEL shirt, and it’s just some smooth, plaid fabric? Lame. This shirt is very cool. It’s a little esteem pick-me-up just to slide it on.

Another thing I have 100’s of, but this one’s the best one I’ve got. Yes, Hydro Flask are as good as everyone claims they are. I bought it myself (this one wasn’t even a gear review), and I use it every single day. I thought 40 oz. Hydro Flask may be overkill? It’s not. Especially when your kids mooch your icy cold water when you’re out and about. Wide mouth rocks, for ease of filling with my fridge ice dispenser, and having it all just dump right in… with no rogue fly-aways.
Kuhl Women’s Spyfire Parka
I’ve had this long down jacket for a couple of seasons now, and it’s still my favorite. I feel like a million bucks wearing my Kuhl Spyfire Parka! Incredibly warm, yet not bulky. Trim, flattering fit with long sleeves (tall girls like me appreciate that). It’s so stylish, yet timless… this is a gift that would be loved and literally last for years!
Oakley Feedback sunglasses
I’ve been “eye”ing these gorgeous Oakley Feedback aviator style sunglasses for a while now, and I just found a great place to buy them online. This jacket is so fantastic. My Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket is another thing I just purchased myself (didn’t get a free sample). And I debated long and hard, because it’s not down. I LOVE down. But I’m continually impressed with how warm it is, yet lightweight, comfortable, generously sized (yet not sloppy looking). I reach for it again and again, and it would be an amazing gift to receive!
Patagonia Down Sweater Vest
The Patagonia Down Sweater Vest is what I reach for almost daily, even around the house, whenever I have a chill. It’s literally a warm hug. And now my teen daughter has discovered it’s lusciousness… and borrows it way, waaay too often.
Kuhl Flight Fleece Jacket
Last, but certainly not least, for you fleece fans… the peak of mountain-style cool: The Kuhl Flight Jacket! Oohh, say it with me, “Itaaaaalian Fleeeece”. This is top of the line, pamper-me soft. Cozy warm, too. Most excellent choice for an outdoorsy gal, I guarantee she’ll “ooh and ahh”!
Patagonia Refugio Backpack
The Women’s specific fit Patagonia Refugio backpack is just the right size, with just the right amount of compartments. Again, I’m a bit of a backpack… err… “collector”. And this is a pack I reach for most often. It’s really versatile, and I use it as both my travel carry-on item, or for hiking.
