I appreciated that Veyo Mittzy are nice and long, which completely covers the wrist area that often leaves an exposed gap at the cuff.  Doesn’t happen with the mittzy.  They extend half way up to their elbow, then have both an elastic cinch strap to seal out the snow and a wrist area adjustment strap to keep them in place.  Great design, and super soft for cozy comfort.

Veyo Mittyz Go Sledding

My son is actually age 5, but we tried out the largest size available of Veyo Mittzy (4T) when we went sledding last weekend, and they worked for him. They are made from very soft fabric, and are fleece lined. He loves the claws and monster/paw design of the drago mittzy he picked.

My sister in law was struggling to get her 5 year old to put on mittens that day, so they borrowed our Veyo Mittyz for a bit.

First win, her son actually wanted to wear them.

Second win, they slipped on with wonderful ease.

As she took in the design, and how well they were solving her Mitten Challenges, she commented…

“Whoever invented these is a GENIUS.”

After two hours of sledding, they did start to get wet inside along the seam.  But overall, they performed well.  The kids were still able to move their fingers enough to grab things, and the design keeps them warmer than if they were wearing gloves.
